sighh. i guess i still miss hk. i miss the peak tram. i miss the star ferry. dont ask me why i miss the transportation but yeaa it has really made travelling in hk really convenient. i miss the food. i miss speaking cantonese although its broken most of the time and i seldom spoke it there. oh well i just miss hk. ):
i miss having shannie in jap class. i miss my korean class, especially alex and jill. and it's alr the end of yr3 sem1. ):
so results were out ytd. nth to comment abt. just that I'm pretty relieved that I passed my korean2. i seriously thought that i would fail badly k. and shucks. I think I'll be stuck at second lower alr.
the past one week just passed in a flash and soon it's gonna be 2009, the start of school which of course I'm totally not really looking forward to. 2009 is a year that seems so so uncertain for me. it's my last sem next sem and then I'll be out working. It's scary when I'm the only one in the team who is gonna start working soon. It's even scarier that some pple are alr employed and here I am still searching. ok not really searching. i am actually looking for tuition tasks for next sem and still updating my resume. ha oh mann. I am sooo.. i dunno. dead maybe.

and so i managed to catch twilight with chiteng and jessine ytd! the movie wasnt as fascinating as i thought it would be. the book is much much better. and the edward in the movie isnt as godlike looking as i always imagine him to be while reading the novel. sigh upsetting. not that the robert guy isnt charming enough for the character. its just that it takes quite a while to be mesmerize by him in the movie. someone i think should play edward - some1 like kim jaejoong. some1 fair enough that looks realistic. someone with the piercing eyes. someone mysterious enough that makes you wanna know him better. some1 you would rather love than to be afraid of him, knowing how dangerous he is to you. except for the part when he tried to save bella from the car crash. maybe its a little fake for jj. haha but yeaa i think jaejoong is very suitable for the character. ha and i think hy will totally agree with me.

so i went back to school for fyp meeting with our prof and omg omg OMG! our prof said that we did our analysis wrongly for both monthly and daily data. and apparently we did exactly what he told us to do the last meeting. wth. i guess i have to spend the next few days at home doing regression again. sigh sigh SIGH. wad a way to celebrate christmassss.
met up with the bnf peeps in the evening to support tong2 performing christmas carol at the fullerton. she looked absolutely gorgeous and in fact, this is the first time i hear her sing. plus i heard she performs every yr. amazing how she still stays in her jc alumni. some of the peeps are as old as j11. and im not in the nj alumni since j3? ha wad a vast difference.
things to do on a xmas eve - run, i hope. DISCIPLINEEE - read my twilightt (: - regression. but i think ill procrastinate instead. ha - make a fabulous dinner for mummy. haha. i wish.

wow! i realised i haven really been blogging for a very very long time! Nth much to update anyway, just that this yr's christmas isnt as christmas-y as the previous years. sighhh. ):
ok random stuff now
1. happy dongji peeps! all i know abt it is that its a day when the night is longer than the day and family members gather around to eat tangyuan tgt. hahaha. trying to sound intellectual here. just came back from an awesome dinner prepared by my dearest granny at my uncle's place. i loveeee my granny's dishes. though most of dishes tonight are dabao-ed. lol
2. and yea! i need a running partner wef today!! this morning i woke up damn early (8am), brushed my teeth, changed, and then headed back to my comfy bed again. and woke up at ard 10am?!!? hahaha. yeaa i know this isnt the first time. rahhh! discipline is the word man!! and running partner is coming back sooonnnnnn (:
3. i just finished watching this damn silly taiwanese drama for the past 5 days ( i know some pple can finish it in like 2 days). its the one showing on channel u now - the bu liang xiao hua. and apparently chit watches that too so it isnt as dumb as i thought. rainie is freaking irritating and loveable at the same time. pan weibo is oh-so-handsome even when hes off screen. he is so dorky lahh! as rainie has mentioned he is like the handsome version of nono. and this is so totally true! the ng part is like funnier than the show itself all thanks to him. and i kinda like dean too. awwww <3<3<3
4. met up with joanne, rud and the rest for dinner at waraku last monday. ladies' night. weird initially but gradually still okie i guess.
5. now neoprint is like so freaking EXPENSIVE lah! ok i haven been in touch with those machines for ages and when jessine, chit and I decided to take that one day, it cost us 11 bucks! cant believe i spent 4 bucks on those stickers. -___-
6. went running with elaine jo and chit to bukit timah hill last wed. i woke up at 730am lah! my godd. but it was still pretty fun lah (jo reads my blog. hahaha) i dun rmb the last time i went there. i think it was back in jc during the heritage walk. omg nostalgic! wanted to make nyonya kueh but didnt in the end. ha! jo pls pass me some nyonya kueh when u make them pls (:

8. jc class gathering at taka's breeks. its really nice to see some pple i haven seen for almost 3 yrs. although bekky, xt, ml, daisy and andrew are in the same school as me, i seldom get to see them around. sighh. bliss's busy with her dance. pf's working currently. meilian's gg to japan for attachment (how cool is that!). both bekky and andrew have found a job (wad am i doing seriously! must jiayou alr). saw wy too and as usual he's sarcastic towards me and as usual it doesnt matter. anw i really do miss 04S01! esp pf, daisy, bekky, chris and kfc buddy xt.
9. i came across this stall at suntec selling superb bubble tea! its the one near carrefour and it sells almost anything u can think of! i tried their pudding milktea and its damn shiokkkk! but i still love taiwan's milktea with lotsa pearls. will nv find it in spore man!
10. how i am gonna celebrate xmas this yr - shall go to my cousins' place with my sis and bake! bake wad? pineapple tarts. oh yeaa. during xmas. how christmas-y! hahaha

the past few days back here has been peaceful. just watching tv. reading my twilight. running at super slow pace. trying to fry noodles the hk way but failed badly. catching up with some friends. and watching random shows online like friends and KINDRED SPIRIT. yes the hk drama. i like xiaoan. hahaha (: and yeaa. i should start on my fyp sooon. like real soon. continue my search for interbank rates again. oh my... bahhhh!!

hey folks! back to reality. bleahh.
im finally back from hk and taiwan (initially i tot is it was just taipei but i went ALL OVER TW INSTEAD OMG). im too lazy to upload photos here and i hate uploading photos on blogger. its too troublesome. anw those who wanna see the photos can go to fb. a total of 6 albums at least! omg. already finish uploading 4. yes im efficient. ha
ok i know im damn evil to comment that taiwan wasnt fun at all. but its true. perhaps its because i was in the tour group. and we really toured around taiwan - taipei, tainan, hualian, alishan, taizhong, taipei. didnt really enjoyed myself coz we spent most of the time sitting in the bus. its like travelling for 4 hrs to some tourist attraction and stay for like 30 mins. yeaaa. its really like that. maybe this type of trip is more suitable for those who just wanna relax or likes sleeping in the bus. plus the tour group was mostly aunties and they love going to those antiques/herbs stalls and stay there for hours. i dun like tours whereby the tour guides will bring us to those places just to earn commission. in the end none of us bought anything. wad a waste of time. totally.
a few things i love abt taiwan - ximendingg! the one place u must go when u are in taipei - shilin night market. also a must - yan1 su1 ji1! its like popcorn chicken with the XXL chicken's seasoning. shiok! - milktea! its damn goooood. no bubble tea stall in spore can beat it man. oh my! and i drink like everyday! the can ones/with pearls. ok time to run! - the bullet train. its a pity that it only took less than 20mins to travel from taipei to bancao and den we had to go back to our bus for hours of travelling again. - shopping at the night market! cheap cheap CHEAP. but unfortunately they sell mostly winter stuff for now so i didnt buy much.
ok thats abt it. taiwan is so big that we spent 3/4 of the time there travelling. ha my cousins and i commented that touring in spore is like damn easy. botanic gardens to town only takes 2 mins or probably 5 mins if walking. alishan to taizhong's night market took abt 5 hours plus we have to go down the hill. omg. see the diff?
ok thats all for taipei. shall blog abt hk some other day. i just ate some egg tart from crystal jade which i used to like but now it taste awful ): i want my kfc egg tart.. rawrrr!
