so today is the first day for PA. woke up at 7am, left my place at 745 and i reached the station at 810!! i realised many of us are working around tanjong pagar area. at the station, i saw yf, hs, ge and wy. and during lunch we saw kugen! seems like the whole world is working here. and i seriously cant stand the crowd. super packed at the station in the morning. packed again during lunch hour and den after work. super sian to the max. went amoy hawker for lunch and its like 15 mins walk from sing inv, den another 10 to look for seats (and i tell u they really use tissue packets to chope seats!!) and the queue was like freaking longgggg everywhere!!! by the time we can actually sit and enjoy our food, we realised we only have 15 mins to eat b4 we need to head back to the office.
anw today's pretty slack. our supervisor wasnt ard. but we dun have any pc at our workstation so cant msn! so the only thing we can do is to read a 89890348097 pages thick file consisting of all the guidelines and regulations of SIF. for the whole day. so all i did today was flipping through the file, refilling my bottle and going to the washroom. repeat. today, i realise the most difficult thing to do in the office is to pretend to be busy when u are not. and yes. that was wad we did for abt 6 hrs today. hurhur. im praying hard tml will be sth different. hopefully.
after work, we had some mini gathering for andrew b4 he goes to the US on wednesday. it was pretty last min coz initially it was supposed to be just mindy and him, plus his brother. den in the end, there were so many 'light bulbs'. lol. went marina square's waraku for dinner. and i have to say that the food is pretty good!! esp the udon with cream base! its very awesome until u reach the end when u ll soon get sick of the cream. the rest of the sides look pretty interesting but pricey too, esp for an intern who earns 3 an hour. sobs
have a safe trip to the US andrew!!
