i realised i haven really been blogging about my internship at SIF. oh well. not that its that interesting afterall. so today, its finally the end of 3 weeks in SIF and its also the last day in the mortgage release team so next week ill be at hp team which is located at the far end of the office. the people at the mortgage release team are pretty nice and there are many temp peeps to entertain me. oh yes they are pretty evil too. this week i was pretty busy in the office and one of them told the other, 'wow. leepeng seems quite busy huh!' 'yar! recently only. hahahaha.' and then ytd, i was so busy that i could only get back to my table 15 mins before i was knocked off. den one commented,'wah! so busy ah! first time right?' GOSHHH! thanks for reminding me how slack i have been for the past 2 weeks.
oh yes! and today's my pay day!! 200+++ for the work i have done for the past two weeks when the temps are getting like 4 times my pay!?! and i always have to console myself that im there for the experience, not the pay. though i dun think i have learnt that much. as in, the stuff that i learnt here most prob cant be applied in other companies coz of the difference in procedures. but i guess the most impt thing is to train ur attitude towards work. like no matter wad ur supervisor asked u to do, even if she ask u to do saigang job like photocopying 97308409328 pages of documents, do it well though u are unwilling to do it. yeps.
i spent like 1.5 nights completing my e-logbook and then submitted to my deputy manager this morning. btw shes not the one teaching me, its those two girls who are YOUNGER than me teaching me the tasks they handle everyday. and the deputy manager was pretty shocked when she read the e-logbook coz she didnt expect it to be so detailed (eh actually i dun think its detailed. 2.5 pages abt wad i have learnt for the past 3 weeks is considered little i feel). anw she TOLD me that she expected her girls to ask me to do photocopying and filing like wad most interns do. wah. luckily they didnt or else ill be sitting with the temps who will keep reminding me every min how slack i am. ok, lets hope that the next section im gg to will be more fulfilling than this time.
TGIF!! and this coming weekend will be packed with activities. feel like running over to simply bread tml and i think ill prefer my bed to my shoes on a saturday morning. hurhur. and i feel like watching sex and the city next week or sth. seems like a movie to watch with ur girlfriends even though i didnt watch any episodes of it.
and i totally love and hate sundays.
