so one week of sem2 has gone by juz like that. managed to get all my textbooks and extra readings as well (as if i got time to finish reading!!). exchanged most of the textbooks with a friend's friend and only had to buy the OB tb!! woohoo!! didnt spend as much as i tot. i can start mugging this weekend. how EXCITING!! -_-
so yep. managed to get an elective. LIVING WITH MATHEMATICS!!! cool right?? =p oh well at least i managed to get one that has vacancies and fits nicely in my timetable. juz that thurs ill have a 5 hours lecture consecutively instead of 4. can die lah! no joke seriously. but maths is fun!! anw this module consists of group project and presentation. so wish me luck! like my core modules dun have enough projects. -__-
so now we are at this topic about expectations. ok i have to admit that i seldom meet other pple's expectations but i do try to make an effort to at least reach step one. for me, my minium expectation for pple i noe is to be nice in return. ok call me naive for thinking that ill not meet nasty pple. once, i was complaining to my sis abt why pple cannot meet such a simple expectation of mine and take me for granted?? i remembered her ans was ' if u think that pple are taking u for granted, this means that u are expecting sth in return.' that in fact made me reflect on my actions, for example why do i treat pple that particular way? so that i can really get sth in return?? or im just doing for the sake of doing ( i really hope im NOT!!).i rmb my grandma once told that how pple treat u is like how u treat others. however, this doesnt seem to be true in our society. im not trying to be emo or anything. neither am i trying to say that im the nicest person u ll ever meet on this planet. but yep, juz wondering.
its now 2 am and i have to be at ntu by 930 and den get to sp for a friendly match. wish me luck!
